The AMFA’s Rep, also referred to as the ‘A’ or ‘B’ program, is for girls aged 10-19. The Abbotsford Outlaws Rep program is committed to facilitating elite level skill development in a fun, safe, and competitive environment. For many athletes, playing on a rep team can be an exciting and rewarding experience.
Players are selected on a tryout basis and expected to maintain a high level of commitment to softball, practicing multiple times per week during the off-season and playing in tournaments on weekends during the season. The overall goal is to provide a well-structured program that teaches athletes core values and challenges them to elevate their game to the next level.
As a member of the Outlaws Rep program, parents and children should expect more travel, and a more significant time and financial commitment, leading to long term skill development. Although the competition will be more intense, our focus on the AMFA’s core values of commitment, effort, passion, integrity, and equality will remain prominent throughout a player’s experience in the AMFA’s Rep program.

Join us for the upcoming 2026/2027 season Rep Tryouts taking place September 7th – 10th at 3 different locations in Abbotsford:

- Ellwood Park (31480 Maclure Rd)
- Ex Park (32470 Haida Drive)
U11 Rep tryouts will be held in January 2027. Be sure to follow our social media accounts for updates on tryout dates, as well as off-season training and development opportunities to help players prepare for the upcoming season.

- Check-in and warm-up starts 30 minutes prior to start time
- U13-U19 Pitchers will NOT be required to bring a catcher
- Please ensure you are dressed in appropriate ball attire and have all the necessary equipment with you (this includes bringing water). Please avoid wearing any current or past teams clothing/uniforms during the tryouts, helmets ok.
- Remember the coaches will not only be evaluating your skills, they will also be looking at your effort, attitude and teamwork. So, work hard, stay positive, and communicate
- For weather updates please follow the AMFA on social media. Our website will also be updated if a tryout date is cancelled.
- The AMFA will support athletes playing within their birth year whenever possible. Any athlete who wishes to tryout for a team outside their birth year must fill out a request form, found here. Cases will be reviewed by members of the AMFA Development team in conjunction with the AMFA Rep Program Tryout Policy. Deadline to apply is September 4, 2026, 9:00 pm PST.
