The AMFA is thrilled to host Joni Frei from Beyond the White Lines.

Originally from Kelowna B.C., Joni led the University of British Columbia Okanagan softball team to a 2021 Canadian Collegiate Softball Association National Championship win just two season’s into the program’s existence. Recently Joni was recognized as a 2022 Community Sport Hero for her contribution to sport in the Okanagan and in 2018 was inducted into the Georgia College and State University Athletics Hall of Fame.

Joni is a Chartered Professional Coach and NCCP Competition Development coach through the Coaching Association of Canada. She serves as a National Coaching Certification Program Master Learning Facilitator and Coach Evaluator for Softball B.C. as well as a Multi-Sport Facilitator in Mentorship, Managing Conflict, Making Ethical Decisions and Teaching & Learning modules.
