The Abbotsford Minor Fastball Association and Softball BC are looking for teens and adults, male or female, interested in becoming softball umpires. Umpires are a vital part of any softball game, and as a trained umpire you will officiate softball games in Abbotsford. A good, working knowledge of the game is required. Games take place on Monday – Thursday nights at varying times.

Youth umpires of all ages can earn valuable job skills and earn extra credits for school.

There are also opportunities to umpire tournament games on select weekends. The opportunity for advancement is unlimited for those that love the game and apply their skills on the field of play.  It is a great way to give back to the community while making a bit of extra money.

Our clinics for the 2024 season have now ended. Please check back in the fall for 2025 opportunities.
